1-2 for Anodin in the Gr.3 Prix des Chênes

The two-year-old colt Anodor provided the Haras du Quesnay-based first season sire Anodin with a first Group victory when winning easily the Gr.3 Prix des Chênes over 1600m at ParisLongchamp on September 9th, 2018. Winner of the Prix de Crevecoeur last month, he remains unbeaten after his second start. Insandi ran second and is his sire Anodin's third Stakes horse. Congratulations to all their connections.

Bred at Haras du Quesnay for ID. Fair, Anodor is the first foal out of the triple winner Decize (Kentucky Dynamite). This is also the family of Aladdine (Naaqoos) who took the Gr.3 Prix Texanita last year. He was bought back for €32,000 at the 2017 Arqana August Yearling Sale. Trained by Freddy Head, the representative of Ecurie Jean-Louis Bouchard and Mrs Frederic Head could run in the Gr.1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère in October.

Bred by Jan Krauze, Insandi is out of the Listed winner Insan Mala (Bahhare) who also produced the Listed winner Courcy (Mizzen Mast). Trained by Carlos Laffon-Parias, he runs in the colours of M'Hammed Karimine.

Anodin is mading a great start to his stallion career. He is now the sire of 10 winners including 3 Stakes horses and 1 Group winner.
