Intello colt tops day 1 of Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up Sale

INTELLO provided the top lot of the day one of the Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up Sale as his colt - lot 26 - was sold for 575,000 guineas to John Ferguson on April 18th, 2017. "He is a beautiful individual and moves very well." said Ferguson after signing the docket. Consigned by Grove Stud, he is out of the Listed winning mare Marika who have already produced the Listed winners Sabratah (Oasis Dream) and Raw Impulse (Makfi).

Bred on the same famous Galileo - Danehill cross as Frankel, the French sire Intello won the Gr.1 Prix du Jockey Club and ended his career with a third in Gr.1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe to Trêve. He was leading freshman sire at the European yearling sales in 2016 and his first yearlings made up to €360,000.
